PLEASE USE THE FORM AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE TO EMAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS
About Me
I am a Registered Nurse and a Professionally Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation. I also hold masters degrees in adult learning and counselling. Each of these professional contexts requires me to practice to a set of ethical standards, and I undertake regular professional development to maintain each of my registrations.
Types of Service I Provide
I provide psychological support and personal and professional development services using a coaching approach. This type of service is intended to assist and support people as they think about and process difficulties, challenges, and change so that they can improve their mental well-being and quality of life as well as find meaning and solve problems. Because of my healthcare background, my focus is working with people who are struggling with and/or want to work through issues, problems or concerns related to health and healthcare related to the following:
Being diagnosed and/or living with a long-term health issue or cancer
Caring for someone who is living with a long-term health issue or cancer
Struggling with the chaos that is often a part of a new diagnosis
Wanting to make sense of things that are or have happened in life and work
Struggling with change
Finding problem-solving difficult
Feeling stressed and anxious
Experiencing grief and loss
Working in healthcare and seeking support to: manage emotions inherent in act of caring; to promote physical, emotional and social well-being; and / or for career development
I use an integrated approach to drawing on person-centred, narrative and solution-focused therapies to provide existential, emotional and/or practical support that is guided by each client's wishes and needs
I have also written a guided journal to provide support for people who don’t want to or are not able to engage in face to face sessions. It is available on Amazon.

I do not provide a crisis service for people at risk of harm, and as a counsellor, I cannot diagnose or treat mental health disorders. I also do not provide health advice.
